7.5 yds of curtain fabric!!

7.5 yds of curtain fabric!!

so, i got my order today -- 7 1/2 yards of the AMH garden party fabric for the new apartment's bedroom curtains!!!

i have three curtain panels to make, and i will definitely have some fabric left over, but i was thinking maybe i could make a couple of throw pillows for the bed or something with the extra.

i think i may use two yards of length for each curtain, just a single panel, and make a cute tie back for each one so we can just pull them to the side.

at two yards per window, three windows, thats only six yards of fabric! yard and a half extra! woo! and to think i paid under $25 for it!

my boyfriend swears its not too girly for him, but i thank my lucky stars constantly that he lets me decorate however i want to! come on now, pink circles around roses??? ;) [as long as the tv gets to go where he wants it in the living room, we're good.]

i love this fabric and am so happy i chose it - our new bedroom is very large (yay), and with all ivory walls that we cannot repaint. so i know the pop of color is going to be great!! and once i can get our bed quilt finished it will be that much better ;)
